If Wednesday was any indication, Immaculate Heart Academy once again proved they are one of the top defensive teams in the Garden State.

Led by a complete game shutout from Jocelyn Moody, the Blue Eagles (15-0) scored a 1-0 win over Old Tappan (11-3). Moody collected eight strikeouts, walked no batters and allowed only five hits in an impressive pitching performance. Her defense came through with a number of big plays to preserve the shutout. A first inning sacrifice fly from Gabriella Shadek proved to be the only run of the game.

Reagan Germano was rock solid in the circle for the Golden Knights. She struck out 11 batters in the loss.
