CBA 32 Saint Peter’s Prep 23 | Non Public “A” Semifinal
Brock Oizerowitz scored a 3-1 overtime decision at 215 starting five straight Colts victories to give CBA its first spot in the state finals since 2022. The Marauders had a 23-11 lead before Oizerowitz started the CBA run. Tyler Palumbo got a major at heavyweight and freshmen Santino Edgar and Shilo Joyce each scored tech falls to put the Colts in front. In the final match at 120 pounds, Sean Kenny made his season debut after missing the entire season with a torn labrum. Kenny sealed the victory with an 11-1 decision. The U16 national champ committed to Iowa will not wrestle individually and is slated for a March surgery but his dedication to the team helped earn the Colts a date with Delbarton this Sunday at Rutgers for the Non-Public A state championship.
