The seventh-seeded Chiefs won a tight battle with the 15th-seeded Jaguars to advance in the Burlington County Tournament. Louis Galasso led the way with 17 points, while Johnny Comito added 14 points in the victory for Cherokee (14-12). It was a special day for Chiefs head coach Eric Cassidy, as he earned his 300th career win. Nesta Rice scored a game-high 18 points for Med Tech (13-11) in the loss. Cherokee will now face sixth-seeded Burlington Township in the semifinal round later this week.
