The Caseys sent 10 batters to the plate in the first inning scoring five runs and Austin Nappi pitched six shutout innings to get RBC a spot in the Monmouth County Tournament championship game. Brian Sheehy launched a high fly ball that got lost in the sun resulting in the first two runs of the game. The Caseys added three straight RBI singles, but Ocean ace Phil DeMarco settled down after that and put up five scoreless frames. Nappi struck out four and gave up just three hits in the win. RBC will face the winner of Sunday’s Freehold Boro/CBA game in the championship in Lakewood on Tuesday. Watch RBC’s win on Saturday here:
