It seems like whenever there’s a big moment, Middletown South delivers. The Eagles took a 3-3 tie with the St. Rose/Donovan Catholic/RBC tri-op into overtime with a trip to the Handchen Cup finals on the line. After a flurry in the defensive zone, sophomore Nate Block blew past two defenders and scored the game-winning goal in O.T.

Michael Ferlanti also scored twice for the Eagles, who will face top-seeded Rumson Fair Haven in the final on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Jersey Sports Arena in Wall.
