Five-star point guard Deron Rippey Jr. committed to Duke on Tuesday, vaulting the Blue Devils to the No. 1 recruiting class for 2026. The 6-foot-2 guard from Blair Academy chose Duke over NC State, Tennessee, Miami and Texas in a live announcement on CBS Sports HQ from his hometown of Brooklyn. Rippey is ranked across the board as one of the top point guards in the class of 2026 nationally:
