An overwhelming ground attack and a key turnover late in the fourth quarter helped the Crusaders win their fourth consecutive game over their rival Green Knights. Najee Calhoun rushed for 115 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Xavier Jackson sealed the game with a 55-yard pick six as Bergen Catholic (7-1) all but sealed up a top seed in the upcoming Non-Public A state tournament. Nate Bailey and Mekhi Rossignol scored touchdowns for St. Joe’s Mont. (5-3) in the loss. Bergen Catholic now owns a 22-game win streak against New Jersey competition.
