It’s never a dull moment when Don Bosco and Bergen Catholic meet so why would a Semifinal game be any different? The two just recently met in the Bergen County Jamboree Final and the fire between these two was very much still burning. A close first quarter that saw both teams exchange threes ended 18-18, in the second quarter BC briefly started pulling away thanks to Raejon Figures and Doug Edert to go ahead 37-26 at halftime. In the third and fourth quarter Jayson Earle would make his presence known thanks to the defense being drawn to 6’8 Junior Matt Zona and Xavier Commit Zach Freemantle. Matt Zona and Freemantle combined for 19 points and 13 rebounds, Doug Edert had 11 points, Jayson Earle finished with 15 points and 9 rebounds while Raejon Figures had 16. The Crusaders move onto the Non-Public North A Final to face St. Joe’s (Montvale) on March 6th. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights:
