Bergen Catholic has been the model of consistency in North Jersey over the past two seasons, going a combined 20-4 over that time with brothers Nunzio and Vito Campanile each serving as head coach in that span.

The Crusaders captured a Non-Public Group 4 title in a 2017 blowout against St. Peter’s Prep but suffered their first shutout in over three decades in last season’s 13-0 loss to St. Joe’s (Mont.). Bergen Catholic hit the reset button coming into 2019, but that doesn’t mean they won’t have a state title on their minds.
