Joe Gargana and Kenny Campbell combined on a complete game four hit shutout as CBA blanked its rival RBC 4-0 to win a second straight Shore Conference baseball title.  It’s the second straight shutout in as many days fo the CBA pitching staff – Mike Garvey and Luca Dalatri blanked Bishop Eustace in the state semifinals.  Dalatri and James Miller had RBI singles for the Colts, who added two runs in the fourth on a bases loaded walk from Will Morgan and a sacrifice fly by Brandon Martorano.  SSZ has highlights and post-game reaction from Toms River North High:

One more title for CBA to chase

The Colts are on a 13 game win streak and have won four significant championships in 2015: Division, County, Shore and the South Jersey Non-Public “A”.  The final mountain to climb comes this Saturday at 11:00 am when the Colts face #1 ranked and 29-0 Don Bosco Prep at Toms River East High School.  CBA has three state titles in its rich baseball history.  SSZ will be there and bring you extended highlights and post-game reaction.
