Christian Alvarez’s clutch win at heavyweight was the deciding factor for the Green Knights in their win over the Crusaders. Alvarez’s 9-2 decision over Benjamin Shue tied the match at 33-33 and then St. Joe’s (6-3) won on Criteria D, most bout wins (8-6), to capture the match. This comes a week after Bergen Catholic (7-2) defeated the Green Knights at the NJ Catholic Duals.
