After a championship performance in 2016 Allentown was a favorite heading into the season last year. However, the Red Birds went 6-4 and suffered an early exit in the first round of the Central Group 4 playoffs. Coach Jay Graber with the help of sophomore sensation QB Dan Merkel, who threw for 17 touchdowns and 1,688 passing yards will look to put last year behind them and make a deep run in the post season.
