The final day of Week 6 delivered some MONSTER results!! St. Joe’s Montvale and St. Peter’s Prep squared off in a Non-Public A Semifinal rematch, Paramus Catholic pulled off a HUGE win over the No. 1 team in the state, Bergen Catholic, and Waldwick/Midland Park outlasted Rutherford in a thrilling double-overtime battle. Paramus Catholic 31 Bergen Catholic 17 | Super Football Conference

Another week, another No. 1 team in the Garden State goes down! No. 6 Paramus Catholic (4-3) came into The Jack on Saturday and defeated top-ranked Bergen Catholic (3-3) 31-17 for their first win over the Crusaders in 12 years. Trailing 7-0 late in the second quarter, sophomore QB and former Crusader Walker Snee led a 2-minute drive and connected with Yahzir Sylvester on a touchdown pass to tie the game up into the halftime locker room. The Paladins kept it coming in the second half as Penn State commit RB Chu Odoh ran for two touchdowns in the 3rd quarter as PC carried a 21-7 lead into the 4th. The two teams exchanged field goals in the 4th, and then Odoh ran for his third TD from 52 yards out to give the Paladins a 31-10 lead. BC added a late touchdown, but the damage had been done.

St. Joe’s-Montvale 38 St. Peter’s Prep 30 | Super Football Conference

Freshman QB Will Mitchell threw three TD passes and ran for another and the Green Knights defense produced three turnovers to score a big win against a top-5 ranked opponent.  Mitchell connected with Stalin Knowlden on a 58-yard TD pass late in the first quarter to put SJR (3-3) up 14-7.  He had second half TD passes to Gavin O’Leary and Quinn Dunleavy.  Backup QB Ralph Tristani had an 80-yard TD pass to David F0rster in the second quarter.  St. Peter’s Prep (4-2) got 155 yards and two touchdowns on the ground from Abdul Turay with QB Zack Karelis adding 113 yards on the ground and two scores in the fourth quarter to get St. Peter’s within striking distance but a Ryan Barry interception sealed the deal.

Waldwick/Midland Park 43 Rutherford 42 (OT) | NJIC

Waldwick and Rutherford battled in a back-and-forth thriller for the NJIC Liberty Division title, and neither team led by more than a touchdown all afternoon! With the game on the line in overtime, QB Will Dell’Aglio delivered the decisive blow, converting on a successful two-point conversion to give Waldwick a wild 43-42 victory and the divisional crown! RB Luciano Mayer also powered the Warriors with three rushing touchdowns in an unforgettable showdown!

Glassboro 33 Burlington Twp. 0 | West Jersey Football League

Oregon commit delivered a 65-yard pick-six in the fourth to cap a dominant day by the Bulldog defense as they rolled to their fourth-straight win. Sacred Heart commit Davon Barr rushed for a pair of touchdowns to pace the offense in the victory. Columbia commit Jojo DeLecce had a rushing touchdown and interception, while Ausar Heard added a rushing touchdown for Glassboro (6-1). Burlington Township fought hard all day despite some key injures but fell to 4-3 on the year.

Hillside 26 North Plainfield 0 | Big Central Conference

Maine commit Kamsi Igboanugo led a dominant defensive effort as Hillside (6-1) blanked North Plainfield 26-0 on Senior Day to clinch the Big Central Conference’s Patriot Gold Division title. Syracuse commit Travis Miles opened the scoring with a spectacular one-handed catch off a deflected pass for a 40-yard touchdown. Eli Wicker added a 34-yard pick-six to double the lead in the third quarter, while Josiah Hicks and Pop Williams finished things off with rushing touchdowns from one and 13 yards out, respectively. The Comets recorded their third shutout of the season, while the Canucks fell to 4-3.

Absegami 28 Pemberton 0 | West Jersey Football League

For the first time in 2026, Absegami (1-6) is in the win column. Jayden Holt-Grandy rushed for two touchdowns, while Sha’zir Shiggs added his sixth rushing score of the season. The Braves also recorded their first shutout of the season with a victory over Pemberton (4-3).
