Don Bosco Prep 3 St. Joe (Mont.) 2 | Boys

After falling to Bergen Catholic 7-3 last Tuesday, Don Bosco boys soccer bounced back with a 3-2 win over St. Joe’s (Mont.) (5-4) on Monday night. The goals for the Ironmen came off an own goal (3′), senior Julian Savreski (40′), and sophomore Angel Soto (48′). Junior goalie Gavin Russo finished the game with three saves. The victory moves Bosco to 3-1-1 on the year as Joe’s drops to 5-4 with their fourth consecutive loss.

Freshman Phillip Yoo and sophomore Emmanuel Gavela were the goalscorers for the Green Knights.

Red Bank Catholic 3 Rumson-Fair Haven 0 | Girls

Mia Cupo delivered a hat trick to reach seven goals on the season as RBC picked up a seventh straight win handing rival RFH (4-2) their second straight loss.  Cupo scored her first two goals off of corner kicks courtesy of Lexi Sinatra and Izzy Fasano’s long ball in the 79th minute set the table for Cupo’s third of the game.

St. Joseph Academy 6 Holy Spirit 0 | Boys

The Wildcats dominated from the opening whistle as they scored a quality divisional win against the Spartans. Chase Franklin poured in three goals in the first half, and added an assist in the victory. Tristan Rodgers earned a clean cheet in net for St. Joseph Academy (3-1-2). Holy Spirit fell to 2-3 on the season.
