We close the book on this Memorial Day weekend with a marquee matchup on the diamond in the Bergen County Baseball Tournament final. No. 4 Don Bosco looks for their second in a row, while upset-minded No. 14 Ramapo is going for their first title since 1997. Check out all the action below!

Don Bosco Prep 10 Ramapo 0 (5 inn.) | Bergen County Tournament Final

No. 4 Don Bosco Prep baseball made a huge pre-state tournament on Monday with a five-inning 10-0 victory over No. 14 Ramapo in the Bergen County Tournament final. This marks the Ironmen’s second straight county championship and their third in four years.

Nine of the Ironmen’s runs came in the first two innings, including seven in the opening frame. Maryland commit Chase Bagley hit the walk-off single in the bottom of the fifth to score Michael Rooney and clinch the run-rule win. Victor Reynoso went 2-3 with three RBIs and a two-run home run and Mississippi State commit Michael Hanna went 2-3 with two RBIs. Hanna was also named the tournament MVP. The tournament’s most outstanding pitcher, Pitt commit Thomas Collins, got the win with 4.1 IP, 4 Ks, 2 H, and 0 ER.
