Washington Township 5 Clearview 3
The Minutemen took a three-run lead in the top of the second inning and never looked back. Peyton Andrie delivered a strong performance in his junior season pitching debut, going six innings, striking out nine, and driving in a run at the plate. Washington Township (8-6) snapped No. 15 Clearview’s (11-3) six-game winning streak and ended its own three-game losing skid against the Pioneers.

Pascack Valley 4 Ramapo 3
No. 20 Pascack Valley baseball survived their first big test as a ranked team on Friday, defeating Ramapo 4-3 and snapping the Raiders’ 10-game unbeaten streak.
The Panthers took a 3-0 lead through 3 1/2 with a second inning RBI single by Aiden Costello, a third inning Trevor Gagreda fielder’s choice which scored Brendan Gaskin, and a fourth inning Drew Kirkby RBI single. The Raiders then answered with three runs in the fourth with Liam Hayward getting an RBI single, Ty Barber a bases loaded walk, and Brody Barber bringing home Axel Black on a fielder’s choice. In the top of the seventh, with Braden Sun at third, Panthers pinch hitter Evan Gallucci hit a short ground ball to Ty Barber, but Sun slid home to take the 4-3 lead.
In his third inning of relief for starter Cam Sidrow, junior reliever Slade Davis had Ramapo runners on first and second with no outs in the bottom of the seventh, but followed up with a strikeout and a double play to clinch the big win. Davis allowed one hit, one walk, and allowed no runs as the winning pitcher.

Governor Livingston 11 Westfield 1 (5 innings)
The Highlanders (13-3) put up five runs in the first and second inning to cruise to a fifth straight win. Catcher Mike Basile recorded his 100th career hit while Jackson Crimaldi (3 RBI’s) and Matt DiRado (2 RBI’s) paced the offensive attack. Reid Bazydlo struck out six over five innings allowing just one run.
