Seton Hall Prep 10 Chatham 6 | Boys

No. 6 Seton Hall Prep will likely find themselves in back in the New Jersey top-five next week as the once 1-5 Pirates pulled their fourth victory in a row in a 10-6 effort over No. 5 Chatham.

The Cougars leapt in front with a 5-3 lead midway through the second quarter, but the Pirates unleashed seven unanswered goals to take a late 10-5 lead and secure the preseason No. 1 their second top-five win in their last three games. Quinlan Oakes scored a hat trick for SHP while Drew Merklinger added two goals. Goalie Brennan Lyons had a fantastic day in net, as well, saving 8/14 shots.

Garden City (NY) 12 Shawnee 8 | Boys

The Renegades had the top-ranked public school in the country on the ropes for much of the contest, but the Trojans rattled off six unanswered goals in the fourth to avoid the upset bid. Lehigh commit Charlie Koester finished with a hat trick and Jeff Finnell netted a pair of goals in the closing stretch for Garden City. Rutgers commit Tyler Rotkowitz scored four goals, while Duke commit Tom McAneney went for two goals and two assists for Shawnee (6-3). It was a strong showing for Shawnee, which entered the week as the 22nd-ranked public school according to USA Lacrosse magazine.

Ocean City 7 Haddonfield 6 | Boys

A Haddonfield shot went off the post as time expired, as Ocean City won a thriller on a windy day by the beach. Otter Donohue and Anthony Pontari each scored a pair of goals for OC (6-4) in the win. Mac Clancey, Owen Chiarieri and James Farrell each scored two goals apiece for the Haddons (5-2) in the loss.
