Gill St. Bernard’s 58 Roselle Catholic 49 | Boys | Non-Public “B” North Final
The Knights used a late surge to put away the Lions and win their first sectional championship since 2012. Dorsett Mulcahy led the way with a game-high 19 points in the victory. Prosper Sonkoua added 16 points, while Jahmal Dixon went for ten points for Gill St. Bernard’s (27-2). Trevon Lewis finished with a team-high 17 points in the loss for Roselle Catholic (22-7). Gill St. Bernard’s will face Holy Cross Prep for the Non-Public “B” state title on Thursday at Rutgers University.

St. Peter’s Prep 59 St. Joe’s (Metuchen) 46 | Boys | Non-Public “A” South Final
The Marauders pulled away in the fourth to get past the Falcons and bring home their first sectional title since 2023. Oscar Martinez knocked down five three’s on his way to a team-high 17 points in the victory. Mason Santiago added 15 points as four Marauders finished in double-figures for St. Peter’s Prep (28-3). Aidan Carter poured in a game-high 21 points, while Andrew Kretkowski chipped in with 13 points for St. Joe’s Metuchen (29-2). St. Peter’s Prep will face North champion Bergen Catholic for the Non-Public A state title on Thursday at Rutgers University.

Red Bank Catholic 54 St. John Vianney 39 | Girls | Non-Public “A” South Final
The Caseys dug out of a double-digit deficit to close the first half, then stormed out of the gates in the third quarter to knock off their archrival and win the sectional championship. Indiana commit Addy Nyemchek powered the big third quarter surge as the McDonald’s All-American scored a game-high 22 points. Lola Giordano added nine points, while Tessa Liggio and Scarlet LeVake each went for seven points for Red Bank Catholic (29-2). Duke commit Taylor Sofilkanich finished with a team-high 12 points and 13 rebounds for St. John Vianney (28-3). RBC now turns it attention to the Non-Public “A” state title, where they will face North champion Morris Catholic on Thursday at Rutgers University.
