Middletown South 64 Lawrence 62 (OT) | Boys | Central Jersey Group 3 Semifinal
Ryan Gannon continued his incredible freshman season with a legendary performance in the Central Jersey Group 3 semifinal. Gannon hit a game-tying shot – one that was met with some controversy – to send the game to overtime, then knocked down the go-ahead three-pointer with 5.7 seconds remaining. The freshman led all scorers with 30 points as Middletown South (17-11) toppled Lawrence (19-9) in a playoff classic. The Eagles will travel to Westampton Tech on Saturday for the Central Jersey Group 3 final.

Teaneck 68 Northern Highlands 49 | Boys | North 1 Group 3 Semifinal
Mickell Taylor, Jr. scored all 24 points of his second half and Mateo Bensimon had a double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds as the Highwaymen (24-4) overcame a nine point halftime deficit to reach the North 1 Group 3 championship and a matchup with Montville.

Delsea 46 Deptford 42 | Boys | South Jersey Group 3 Semifinal
Ryan Casiano netted the go-ahead basket with just over two minutes to go, then Dahmir Hart iced things at the free throw line to send the Crusaders to their first sectional title game since 2018. Casiano scored six of his ten points in the fourth, while Hart went for nine points in the victory. Colorado State football commit Luke Van Auken finished with a game-high 21 points and 14 rebounds for Delsea (17-11). Jordan Williams scored a team-high 14 points in the loss for Deptford (22-7). Delsea will take on Ocean City for the sectional championship on Saturday.

Ocean City 53 Toms River South 32 | Boys | South Jersey Group 3 Semifinal
The third-seeded Red Raiders built a big lead in the third quarter to advance to their fourth straight South Jersey title game. Luke Tjoumakaris led the way with 16 points for OC (23-6) while Josh Lenko added 13 points. Shane Gambarony had a team-high 12 points for seventh-seeded South (16-13) in the loss. Ocean City now looks for its second straight sectional title, as the Raiders will host fourth-seeded Delsea on Saturday.
