Somehow, winning the Prep “B” Tournament title may not have been the biggest moment of the night for Doane Academy (21-2). Late in the third quarter, Spartan senior Erik Perez threw down a posterizing dunk that will surely be remembered as one of the top dunks of the 2025-26 season. Deon Chew led all scorers with 21 points as Doane Academy defeated Newark Academy (11-10) to claim their first Prep trophy since 2022.

The Panthers built a double-digit lead early and rolled the rest of the way as they earned a regular season sweep against the Chargers. JSZ Week 4 Game Ball winner Parker DeChristopher knocked down four three-pointers and finished with a game-high 16 points in the victory. Joey Zubert added nine points, while Jay Craig and Oliver Spier scored eight points each as part of a balanced attack from Pitman (9-13). Aiden Bobo went for a team-high ten points in the loss for Salem Tech (2-16).
