St. Joe’s-Montvale 5 CBA 1 | Boys
Kyle Kondratowicz scored a hat trick including two goals in the third period to give the Green Knights (11-3-1) a bounce back win just 24 hours after a 2-1 loss to #1 Delbarton. Mateos Garipian opened the scoring for St. Joe’s in the first followed by Kondratowicz redirecting a Dante Mangarelli shot from the point to give SJR a 2-0 lead at the end of 1. Milan Kutsevich closed out the scoring and give the Green Knights a two game regular season sweep of CBA. Matt Flynn had the lone goal for the Colts (11-6).

Wayne 4 Ramapo 3 | Boys
No. 20 Wayne boys hockey fell to No. 19 Ramapo 2-1 on Friday, but they more than made up for it Wednesday night with 4-3 victory over the Raiders in an instant classic! Down 2-0 in the second period, Wayne came roaring back to knot it up at 2 early in the 3rd period off two Scott Stansfield goals.
A shorthanded goal for Ramapo’s Brandon Gold with just over 7:00 made it 3-2, and it stayed that way until under 90 seconds left when Ashkinazi netted a power-play goal to tie it. Then, with 37 seconds to go, he scored once again on a breakaway to cap off a thriller! They now improve to 12-3-1, while Ramapo falls to 9-7.

Morristown-Beard 3 Princeton Day 2 | Girls
In the second meeting of the season between these powerhouse teams, Morristown-Beard (12-1) secured a regular-season sweep over reigning state champions Princeton Day (6-2). Sylie Sawale scored at the end of the second period to tie the game at 1-1. In the third period, Mekhi Fitzgerald and Kallen Peterson added goals to seal the victory for the Crimsons.
