We’ve got action from two games at the 10th annual Jimmy V Showcase at Central Regional High School. Plus, Tenafly looks to stay unbeaten against Northern Highlands, and Union goes to battle with Westfield in a Union County clash. Check back as the highlights roll in throughout the night!
Tenafly 56 Northern Highlands 50 | Boys
After trailing 28–21 at the break, the Tigers (11-0) clamped down in the second half and leaned on a balanced scoring attack from Adin Goldschneider (18), Nick Lewin (15), and Nick Baldini (15 points, 10 rebounds) to seal the win.

Union 62 Westfield 55 | Boys
Reed Flood had 22 points and freshman Elijah Cortes sank four free throws in the final 30 seconds to hold off a valiant comeback bid by the Blue Devils. Westfield trailed by 14 early in the fourth quarter before closing the deficit to 58-55 before Cortes stepped up for the Farmers. Javy Ocasio added 14 points for a Union team that is on an eight game win streak that includes a win over state ranked Seton Hall Prep.

Rutgers Prep 77 Holy Cross Prep 59 |Boys
William Brunson, a four-star recruit and one of the top sophomores in the country, showed why he’s so highly regarded. The 6’5″ shot creator, who averages over 23 points per game, recorded his fourth double-double of the season at the Jimmy V Showcase, finishing with 22 points and 10 rebounds to earn MVP honors. Rocco Loomis led all scorers with 23 points as Rutgers Prep (9-5) pulled off the win over Holy Cross Prep (8-3).

Marlboro 57 Bayonne 50 | Boys
The Mustangs seized control in the third, then fought off a late comeback bid from the Bees to bring home their second-straight victory. Dylan McEwan earned team MVP honors for Marlboro (9-3), leading a balanced attack with a game-high 19 points. Drew Lubeck and Christian Elmasri added ten points in the victory. Jaylen Sims scored a team-high 16 points, and was named the team MVP for Bayonne (10-3).
