CBA 64 Linden 56 | Boys | Hoop Group Boardwalk Showcase

Avery Lynch scored 24 and fellow Saint Rose transfer Izayah Cooper added 16 to lead the Colts to an impressive win to reach 9-1 on the season.  Leading 31-28 at the half, CBA used a 14-2 run to open the third starting with five straight from Lynch.  Linden (7-5) was led by Deng Deng and Jaren Barnett who each scored 13.

Teaneck 70 DePaul Catholic 48 | Boys | Mel Henderson Classic

Mickell Taylor, Jr. continues to be one of New Jersey’s top scorers pouring in 33 points to lead the Highwaymen (10-1) to a rout of the 7-3 Spartans.  Taylor is averaging nearly 29 points a game.

Shawnee 51 Cedar Creek 44 (OT) | Boys

The Renegades outscored the Pirates 9-3 in the extra period to bring home a thrilling win in a back-and-forth battle on the road. Chase Yakabosky scored five points in OT and finished with a team-high 16 points in the victory. Mason McGovern added 15 points in the win for Shawnee (6-3). Markus Polite poured in a game-high 25 points, and will have a chance to eclipse 1,000 career points on Monday for Cedar Creek (5-2).

Camden 71 Atlantic City 58 | Boys

Alex Pace scored 23 points to lead the Panthers (4-5) to victory in this battle between two of South Jersey’s most storied programs. Dontaye Thompson scored 19 points for AC (5-4) in the loss.

Ramapo 54 South Plainfield 30 | Boys | Coaches vs. Cancer Shootout

Finn and Brody Marrah led the charge for the Raiders, combining for 24 points and sharing game-high honors with 12 apiece. Ramapo (5-5) knocked down 10 three-pointers as a team, moving back to .500 on the season with a win over a surging South Plainfield (8-2) squad.
