Delbarton 41 CBA 26 | Catholic Duals Championship

Trevor Jones got a 3-2 ultimate tiebreaker win at 157 pounds to put the Green Wave up nine setting the stage for Jayden James to score a tech fall at 165 and Carl Betz sealing the win at 190 with a first period pin.  Delbarton dominated day one and followed that up with a 49-13 win over St. Peter’s Prep in the semifinals.  The Green Wave were short four starters in the finals including state champion Ryan DeGeorge yet still handled the elite field to finish on top.  It’s the third straight year the Green Wave have won the Catholic Duals which featured five of the top six teams in the latest state poll.
