West Orange 5 North Brunswick 0 | Group 4 State Final
The Mountaineers put the finishing touches on a magical season with one final win to go out on top for the first time in 12 years. Darius Millington (two goals), UCLA commit Marcus Jackson and reliable senior Carl Hall all scored touchdowns and contributed in big ways Saturday afternoon. Millington scored back to back goals in the first half, Jackson has another in the first and Carl Hall scored West Orange’s last goal this year to finish the job. The Mountaineers should stay inside the United Soccer Coaches Assoc. national top-10 rankings at season’s end.

Ramapo 5 Middletown South 1 | Group 3 State Final
Caden O’Donnell scored a pair of goals in the first six minutes and Jacob Preziosi added his own brace in the second half to go along with a Julian Cuttita blast to give the Raiders their first state championship since 2016. Jack Cohen scored the lone goal for the Eagles (17-4-1) in the 19th minute to make it a 2-1 match. Ramapo (21-1) had 15 shutouts and a Bergen County title ending the year on an 18-game win streak.

Madison 4 Robbinsville 3 (OT) | Group 2 State Final
The state playoffs are where dreams can come true. In the 82nd minute of overtime, Jake Witte scored a golden goal that many kids dream of. After going down 2-0 in the first half, the Dodgers responded with three consecutive goals, two from Andrew Haviland and one from Noah Keane. A penalty kick from Max Goldberg tied the game in the 66th minute before Witte ended it in overtime. Madison (20-1-2) pulled off a dramatic comeback over Robbinsville (17-8-1) to claim their first state title since 1996.
