St. Augustine 2 St. John Vianney 2 (Hermits win 3-1 in PK’s) | Boys | Non-Public “A” South Quarterfinal
Matt Carr delivered a masterful performance with three saves and the decisive goal in the PK shootout to send the third-seeded Hermits to the sectional semifinals. John Lamanteer netted his 13th goal of the season, while Mike Coluzzi put home his 17th of the year in the 78th minute to force overtime for St. Augustine (18-2-1). Drew commit Mason Boles scored his 20th of the season, while Ethan Bellone added a goal for sixth-seeded St. John Vianney (12-7-4). St. Augustine advances to face Christian Brothers Academy on Monday.

St. Joe’s-Metuchen 4 Notre Dame 0 | Boys | Non-Public “A” South Quarterfinal
In a clash between two top-15 ranked teams and reigning conference champions, the Falcons delivered a statement win. Joseph Marinello netted the first three goals, earning his second hat trick of the season, while goalkeeper Robert Boyke recorded his second consecutive shutout. GMC champions St. Joe’s Metuchen (18-0) handed CVC champions Notre Dame (17-2-2) their only loss to a New Jersey team this season. The Falcons now advance to a major semifinal showdown against reigning Non-Public “A” South champions Pingry.

Seton Hall Prep 2 St. Peter’s Prep 0 | Boys | Non-Public “A” North Quarterfinal
Liam Collins delivered one of his best performances of the entire season to lift his Pirates past the the Marauders. Collins came through with a number of monster stops in an 11-save shutout to help fourth-seeded Seton Hall Prep (13-4-1) to the win. Maxime Tellier and Matthew Pasternak had both second-half goals to break a 0-0 tie after the half. Fifth-seeded St. Peter’s Prep (19-3-1) sees an exceptional season come to a close.

D’Angelo Tavarez came through with with his second hat trick of the season to send the Crusaders into the sectional semifinals. Tavarez led a dangerous attack for second-seeded Bergen Catholic (16-4-1) as they secured a mercy-rule win in the second half. The Crusaders advance to the sectional semifinals where they are set to host Delbarton on Monday.

Ranney 3 Holy Cross Prep 0 | Boys | Non-Public “B” South Quarterfinal
Tylor Yang got the scoring started in the 33th minute and Zac Levine and Eddie Magherini notched second half goals to give the top seed a spot in the section semifinals. Magherini has 24 goals on the season and Jake Nagy had 12 saves for the shutout for the 12-6-1 Panthers. Ranney will host #11 seed Bishop Eustace on Monday in the Non Public B South semifinals.
