8/12: Rancocas Valley | West Jersey Football League

The Red Devils will look to continue the program’s positive momentum after finishing 9-3 and reaching a sectional final for the first time since 2017 last season. Monmouth commit Sayvien Adams became the fourth QB in South Jersey history to pass for 2,000 yards, and rush for 1,000 yards in a single season a year ago, and he will be back to lead RV into battle. Rancocas Valley also returns a veteran offensive line, and physical defense with playmakers on all three levels, as they chase its first sectional title in nearly 40 years.

8/12: Jackson Township | Shore Conference

Jackson Memorial and Jackson Liberty have merged to form Jackson Township High School.  Once crosstown rivals, the football program will be the first opportunity to bring both sides together.  Jackson Memorial head coach Vin Mistretta is the Township head man while former Liberty head coach Jim Sharples is on the staff as an assistant which has made the transition smooth.  Jackson Township will play in Group 5 and will open the season at home against North Brunswick in the first ever sporting event for the Jackson Township Jaguars.

8/12: St. Joe’s (Mont.) | Super Football Conference

St. Joe’s was a single failed overtime possession away from taking down Bergen Catholic and reaching last year’s Non-Public A state final. The Green Knights have assembled a fast and dangerous team this fall, led by Harvard commit Nate Bailey and Delaware commit Lamar Best on offense.

8/11: Bergen Catholic | Super Football Conference

The Crusaders are the unquestioned kings of New Jersey football with the 2025 season right around the corner. Head coach Vito Campanile has guided Bergen Catholic to four straight Non-Public A championships, four-straight No. 1 statewide rankings and a Top-25 national ranking heading into this fall. Can BC keep it going for another year? A talented ground game paired with an elite defense will be the recipe for success.

8/11: Hun | Mid-Atlantic Prep League

The Raiders are once again playing a national schedule and have become a fixture in the recruiting cycle among top Division I programs.  Southern Cal commit Luke Wafle is New Jersey’s top prospect in the class of 2026 and he’s joined by a host of other D1 commits.  QB Lukas Prock is one of the top sophomore prospects in America already getting an offer from defending national champion Ohio State.  Hun will get started early with a game in Dublin, Ireland against the NFL Development Academy on August 22nd.

8/11: Winslow Twp. | West Jersey Football League

The Eagles bring back several key contributors after an undefeated run to the program’s first Group 4 state title and finishing as the top-ranked public school in NJ a season ago. Winslow will hit the national stage in 2025 as they will open up with a Week 0 clash with IMG Academy (FL) at the Battle at the Beach in Ocean City, then in Week 2 will have an in-state showdown with Bergen Catholic before tackling a tough schedule in the WJFL American Division. While this season could have more twists and turns, the goal remains the same for the Eagles as they look to defend their crown in Group 4.

8/11: Hillsborough | Big Central Conference

The Raiders head into the new season without star running back Jackson Jankowicz, who racked up over 1,800 yards and 28 touchdowns last year. Senior Andrew Schwarz will lead a retooled Hillsborough backfield tasked with filling that void — a challenge 15-year head coach Kevin Carty Jr. believes his team is ready for. Hillsborough opens its season at the Battle at the Beach at Rowan University, taking on reigning Central Group 5 champion Washington Township.
