There’s no denying Addison Halpern had one of the most impressive careers of any player in New Jersey soccer history. The numbers don’t lie and neither does the flim. After four incredible years at Rutgers Prep, Halpern was bestowed with one final honor to cap off her high school career.

On Friday, Halpern was surprised with Gatorade’s 2024-25 National Girls Soccer Player of the Year award.

Her resume? Truly bulletproof. Halpern scored 44 goals in only 15 games after playing for US Women’s National Team at the Under 20 World Cup. She finished with 180 career goals to make her the state’s second all-time scorer. Her final hoorah was a third state championship win in her final game.
