Another high profile national recruit from New Jersey is off the board.  Luke Wafle is heading out west after committing to the University of Southern California.  Check out his JSZ highlight reel!


Luke Wafle was one of the biggest names on the board when it comes to New Jersey products in the class of 2026 and the rising senior made his college choice on Thursday afternoon when he gave his verbal commitment to play for the USC Trojans.  Wafle chose Southern Cal over Ohio State, Penn State, Texas and Florida. The 6’5″ 240 pounder is ranked the fourth best edge rusher in the class of 2026 according to On3Sports.  Wafle and the Raiders played a national schedule in 2024 fnishing with an impressive 9-1 mark.  Coach Todd Smith’s program has now become a factory for top recruits with double digit Division I recruits becoming the norm at the prep school in Princeton.  Luke’s older brother Owen is at Penn State after transferring from the University of Michigan.
