Governor Livingston 6 West Morris 1 | Group 2 State Championship
The Highlanders achieved perfection with another convincing win. Gov. Livingston (28-0) became the first team since Don Bosco Prep in 2008 to play to a perfect season and they did it with a deep lineup, reliable pitching and incredible coaching. Ryan Pappas and Matty Diskin each had two-run singles while Zach Geertsma added in an RBI single to spark a six-run fourth inning. Keith Mann pitched six innings strong and only allowed one earned run in the process. West Morris (20-11) mashed through the state playoffs but couldn’t break through with multiples chances in the state final.

The Greyhounds made history in the final game of the 2025 high school baseball season with a dominant performance to secure the program’s first state championship. Liam Velit got things started with a three-run home run in the first inning to power the NBC offense. Rowan commit Luca Mannino turned in another masterful performance with a complete game shutout, finishing the season with a 0.72 ERA for Northern Burlington (28-2). Two-time defending champion Morris Knolls (15-12) saw its quest for a three-peat and a nine-game winning streak end on Monday night.

Middlesex 3 Midland Park 2 | Group 1 State Championship
Dominic Long needed just 77 pitches to go the distance and Luke Jones had a 2-run single as part of a 3-run third inning to give the Blue Jays (23-5) its seventh state championship on the diamond. Midland Park (21-9-1) rallied in the 6th when Anthony Carrera’s low liner to center came out of the glove of Chris Kozak. A run scored to make it 3-2 but Kozak was able to throw it in to third base and get the final out setting the stage for Long to lock down the seventh.
