JP Zayle lived out every ballplayer’s dream—bases loaded, two outs, and the game on the line. The Coastal Carolina commit crushed a first-pitch walk-off grand slam to deep left, lifting sixth-seeded St. Joseph Metuchen (15-6) to a dramatic comeback win over eleventh-seeded Edison (15-10). The Falcons clinch their record-setting 9th GMC Baseball Title and their second in the last three seasons.

Don Bosco Prep 5 Pascack Valley 1 | Bergen County Tournament Final
The Ironmen played typical Ironmen baseball Saturday afternoon to pick up the program’s 10th all-time county championship. Anthony Costello captured the tournament’s Most Valuable Pitcher after five innings with six strikeouts and no earned runs to earn the win, while Nick Gilpin won Most Valuable Player after going 2-4 with an RBI and run scored in the victory for top-seeded Don Bosco Prep (21-2). Chase Bagley, Mason Daly and Dennis Mulhearn each had RBI singles in the win. Nick Donofrio was one of two Pascack Valley (18-6) players to get a hit in this game.

Bishop Eustace 4 Cherry Hill West 1
The Crusaders got a pair of solid performances on the mound from Delaware commit Daniel Passalacqua and Army commit Cole Williams to knock off the Lions in their regular season finale. Passalacqua tossed five shutout innings, while Williams allowed one run over two innings in the victory. JJ McLaughlin and Franco Iannone each drove in runs for Bishop Eustace (20-6). Aiden Ryder homered and Brady Market tossed four shutout innings out of the bullpen for Cherry Hill West (16-9).
