Hopewell Valley 9 Notre Dame 7 | CVC Tournament Final | HS Boys Lacrosse
Just 12 days ago, it was the Irish who snapped the Bulldogs’ eight-game win streak to clinch the CVC Colonial Division title. Now, Hopewell Valley (15-2) returns the favor—ending Notre Dame’s (12-3) eleven-game win streak to capture the CVC Tournament Championship. It was a monumental night for HVCHS. Luke Caldwell, who leads New Jersey in goals, added five more to bring his season total to 92. Ryan Foret became the first player in program history to record 60 assists in a single season, and goalie Owen Shehab posted a season-high 13 saves. For the Irish, Army commit Merritt Long tallied a hat trick, while Rutgers commit Emmanuel Jastrzebski added two goals.
