The end of the regular season is quickly approaching in the NJ girls’ flag football world so it’s time to check in on some of the state’s best. The defending North Jersey champions look to keep the undefeated season alive while Elizabeth rules an all-Big Central showdown. Stay tuned for all the action!
Ridgewood 26 Paterson Kennedy 0 | SFC
Lucia Mastellone scored a pair of touchdowns while Penelope Pace tossed two touchdowns in a lop-sided win over the previously unbeaten Knights. Mastellone threw a touchdown and scampered into the zone with a short rushing touchdown late in the second half to seal the win for Ridgewood (8-0). Kennedy (6-1-2) suffered its first loss of the season.

Elizabeth 34 North Brunswick 0 | Big Central
Sanaii Mayers reached 30 total touchdowns on the season after three TD passes, a TD catch and a 2-point conversion in a dominating effort by Elizabeth. The Minutemen (9-1-1) also got two touchdowns from Sache Lashley in the second half as part of a sixth straight win.
