JSZ hits the road for three games on the diamond from all over the Garden State! Check back as the highlights are posted throughout the night!

Ridge 6 Hunterdon Central 1

Elon commit Aidan Stieglitz put together one of the best pitching performances of his senior season Tuesday, leading the way in a combined no-hitter to take a big Skyland Conference win. Stieglitz piled up 10 strikeouts and allowed no hits over six innings before handing it off to Jake Dolan in the seventh inning to complete a combined no-no performance. Ridge (12-2) only had two hits in the game, too, but was able to work walks and take advantage of fielding errors. Hunterdon Central (8-4) scored on a sixth-inning error to get on the board.

Nafziger tossed a complete game shutout with eight strikeouts, and drove in a run at the plate to lead the way in the victory. Pittsburgh commit Matt Ferrara drove in a pair of runs for third-seeded Toms River East (10-4). Sixth-seeded Brick Township fell to 8-4 on the season. Hun 12 Allentown 2 (5 Innings)

Coming off of a four-run loss, it was a huge night offensively for the Raiders. The 1-2-3 punch of John Rossman, Jackson Staples, and Pepperdine commit Will Kraemer had 3 RBI’s apiece and were responsible for 9 of Hun’s 12 runs. Rossman launched his second home run of the season in the fourth inning, his first at home this season. Going into this game, the Redbirds four-game win streak saw them average 10.5 runs per game. The Hun (11-4) pitching staff of Aidan Heaphy and Zain Majeed put the birds in their cage as they held Allentown (8-7) to just 2 unearned runs.
