St. John’s commit Chase Huggard left his fingerprints all over a thrilling season-opening win for the defending South Jersey Group 4 champion Vikings. Huggard netted the game-tying goal in the fourth quarter then scored the game-winning goal in overtime to finish with a hat trick and five assists in the victory. Bruce Magladry and Kieran Duffy each added a pair of goals for Eastern (1-0). RPI commit Tucker Malfa, Catholic University commit Lukas Villa, and Brady McHugh scored two goals in the loss for Shore Regional (0-1).
