Ocean City 51 Absegami 48 | Boys | South Jersey Group 3 Semifinal
The top-seeded Red Raiders trailed by 13 points heading to the fourth quarter, but put together a furious comeback down the stretch to beat the fourth-seeded Braves. Leon Brown hit a three-pointer with 20 seconds remaining to give OC its first lead of the night. Luke Tjoumakaris scored 19 points, while Ben McGonigle added 18 points to lead Ocean City (21-6). Jamaal Davis scored a team-high 17 points for Gami (24-5) in the loss. OC advances to its third consecutive sectional final, where it will face second-seeded Timber Creek.

Timber Creek 53 Winslow Township 50 | Boys | South Jersey Group 3 Semifinal
The Chargers built an eight-point lead with just over a minute to go and hung on to punch their ticket to their first sectional final since 2020. Jerome Ford powered the offense with a team-high 17 points and 12 rebounds in the victory. Chris Stowell added 10 points, while CJ Atkins delivered a tremendous all-around performance with eight points, 15 rebounds, and nine blocks for second-seeded Timber Creek (19-9). Kevin Satchell finished with a game-high 25 points in the loss for sixth-seeded Winslow Township (18-11). Timber Creek will face top-seed Ocean City for the South Jersey Group 3 title on Friday.

Red Bank Regional 37 Middletown South 24 | Girls | Central Jersey Group 3 Semifinal
Caroline Polloway had 13 points and nine rebounds to lead the Bucs to the Central Jersey Group 3 final. Tied 11-11 at the half, the Bucs built a ten point lead scoring 16 points in the third quarter. Synai Blychanton added 11 points, eight rebounds and five steals. Red Bank Regional (19-9) will host Neptune in the section final on Friday. Middletown South ended its season with a 15-12 record. Tom Brennan, who has over 475 wins in nearly 30 seasons will step away after returning from retirement for the past two seasons.

New Providence 64 Middlesex 58 | Girls | Central Jersey Group 1 Semifinal
Annie Conover delivered a career performance to help send the Pioneers to their fifth-straight sectional championship game. Conover went off for 29 points and 16 rebounds as top-seededNew Providence (27-2) won their 21st-consecutive contest. Brenna Slattery came up big throughout this game, finishing with 17 points and eight rebounds. Jessica Devine exploded for a game-high 30 points as No. 4 seed Middlesex (21-9) saw their season come to an end. New Providence will host Thrive Charter in the CJG1 final Friday.

Ewing 63 Burlington Twp. 57 | Boys | Central Jersey Group 3 Semifinal
In what was a back and forth battle, Joel Cineus delivered a career high 29 points to send sixth-seeded Ewing (22-7) to their second sectional title in three years. Terrance Traylor came up with the late steal, which lead to Kristian Thomas sealing the deal against second-seeded Burlington Twp. (26-4). Cineus sits just 11 points from #1,000. He’ll have the chance to break 1k when the Blue Devils travel to Colts Neck on Friday to face the fourth-seeded Cougars for the CJG3 Final.
