The boys’ bracket of the Shore Conference Tournament is starting to whittle down and we’ve got highlights from a pair of quarterfinal matches plus highlights from the annual meeting between Clifton and Bergen Catholic. Check out all our coverage as it rolls in!
Clifton 2 Bergen Catholic 1 | Boys
The Mustangs rattled off a pair of goals in the first nine minutes of regulation and rode that two-goal lead throughout this match to win their sixth-straight game. Tarik Pesocan (2′) and Simon Deossa (9′) scored for Clifton (11-2-2) early to help power the win. Josh Barlison scored in the second half for Bergen Catholic (10-5) in the loss. Clifton now turns its focus to the Passaic County Tournament final Saturday where they’ll face off against DePaul.

Colts Neck 3 Manasquan 2 | Boys | Shore Conference Tournament Quarterfinal
Kyle Moore’s goal in the 55th minute was the game-winner as the Cougars rally from a 2-1 deficit to reach the Shore Conference Tournament semifinals. After Gabriel Kruglyansky gave Colts Neck a 1-0 lead off a header in the 12th minute, The Warriors took a 2-1 lead after goals by Jorge Cruz Cruz and Cruz Farkas on a penalty kick. The Cougars answered 22 seconds after the PK with a Sean Moore goal. Sean and Kyle Moore have now combined for 44 goals this season. Colts Neck will face Ocean Township in the semifinals.

CBA 1 Holmdel 0 | Boys | Shore Conference Tournament Quarterfinal
Brayden Perry’s goal in the 73rd was all the Colts needed to reach the Shore Conference Tournament semifinals for a sixth straight year. CBA will face Lacey on Thursday night with a spot in the finals on the line.
