We kick off the week with tons of goals on the board! The dynamic Moore brothers from Colts Neck stay hot, Middletown South wins with an electric late goal and the nationally-ranked Shawnee girls power to another win. Enjoy all of the highlights!
Middletown South 2 St. John Vianney 1 | Shore Conference Tournament | Group B Stage | Boys
Matteo Niglio’s second goal of the match was a 29-yard screamer off his left foot that bent into the upper right corner of the net and gave the Eagles a huge win in Group stage play. Niglio scored with 5:06 left in regulation and gave Middletown South a 3-0 mark in Group B play. SJV upset CBA over the weekend and finished with a 3-1 mark. A South win over CBA on Friday would give them the top spot. If the Colts win, there will be a three-way tie between SJV, CBA and Middletown South for the two guaranteed spots in the knockout round.
