The Raiders’ four-game losing streak to the Minutemen – which dated back to the 2021 season – was snapped Tuesday night as they keep their undefeated season intact. Jack Sponheimer buried a first half goal, which would prove to be the only tally, for Scotch Plains-Fanwood (7-0) in the win. Elizabeth (6-1) came close to tying the match in the second half but narrowly missed on a couple of good chances.

Robbinsville 3 Notre Dame 2 (OT) | Boys
Nick Grippa’s diving header off a feed from Mitchell Shapiro just :20 into overtime gave the Ravens a dramatic win against the Irish ending Notre Dame’s seven-game win streak keeping Robbinsville unbeaten at 8-0-1. Ethan Pagani’s second goal of the game with 1:14 left in regulation tied the game 2-2. Notre Dame got goals from Landon Hoenisch and Felipe Samuel.

Ocean City 2 Egg Harbor Twp. 1 (OT) | Boys
Chase Bowman delivered a golden goal off a great pass from Ryan Davis just over 90 seconds into overtime to give the Red Raiders a thrilling victory against the Eagles. Joey Goodman leveled the match in the 56th minute with his first goal of the season for Ocean City (4-3-1). Gio Bongiorno netted his third goal of the season on a penalty kick in the loss for Egg Harbor Township (3-5).

Red Bank Catholic 2 Howell 0 | Girls
Paige Foye scored in the final minute of the first half for her 12th goal of the year and sophomore Nina Bicej scored in the 75th minute to hand Howell its first loss of the season. The Rebels were ranked #9 in the latest state soccer poll. The Caseys are now 6-2 on the season.
