Nick Grippa scored the game-winner in the 46th minute four minutes after Princeton tied the match and Brody Tucker made eight saves to give Robbinsville the victory in a matchup of two Mercer County powers. Tucker stopped a penalty kick early in the second half and made a key save late off a corner kick to keep Robbinsville unbeaten at 6-0-1 and hand the Little Tigers their first loss.

Neither the Mustangs or the Indians emerged from this big-time Passaic County rivalry as winners. Clifton (3-0-2) played a man down for 79 minutes after Simon Deossa was handed a first-half red card. Passaic (3-0-1) was challenged and held up against a Top-20 team in the state – keeper Kevin Gonzales-Rodriguez made 10 saves in the draw.
