West Orange 2 Newark East Side 1 (OT) | Boys
Lucas Andrada’s golden goal penalty kick was the difference in a huge matchup between Super Essex Conference American Division foes. Andrada was fouled inside the box in the 82nd minute and subsequently buried the game-winner for West Orange (5-0). Newark East Side (1-3) scored :34 seconds into the game but couldn’t hold the lead.

Delsea 2 Williamstown 1 (OT) | Boys
Zach Gleason came to the rescue for a second-straight match as the sophomore netted his second golden goal of the week to give the Crusaders a thrilling victory over the Braves. Gavin Reissek scored his third goal of the season for Delsea (4-1). Jalen Williams came through in the 76th minute, scoring on a free kick to force overtime for Williamstown (2-2-1).

Elvis Appiah broke a 1-1 tie with under six minutes to go and added one more in the final minute to give the Red Raiders a road win. Pennington, the defending Prep A state champs, is now 2-1 on the season rebounding after a loss to Kiski.
