James Melia’s second half strike was the lone goal in a matchup between two archival programs. Bergen Catholic (2-2) outshot Don Bosco (1-2) significantly but Ironmen goalie Griffin Bobnick made 10 saves to keep this match close until the final moments.

Kam Brown’s goal in the 43rd minute was all the Rebels needed to get off to a 2-0 start. Brady Murphy got his first career shutout in goal fo the top ranked team in the Shore Conference.

The Chiefs trailed 1-0 just 33 seconds into the first half, but rallied on the road to score a signature victory against the Red Raiders. Abbie Zubrzycki found Paige Wagner for Wagner’s third goal of the season in the 21st minute, before netting the go-ahead goal in the 26th minute. Caroline Neal iced things in the 66th minute with her second goal of the season for Cherokee (4-0). Brown commit Naomi Nnewihe scored her fifth goal of the year in the loss for Ocean City (4-1).
