Two NJ field hockey powers are meeting up in an early season showdown.  Point Pleasant Boro and Shore Regional have been in the Shore Conference finals over the last three years.  We’ve got the highlights and post-game from a regular season matchup!

Teagan Harmon made 18 saves and Emma Haynes’s fourth-quarter goal proved to be the game-winner as the Blue Devils avenged a pair of losses to the Panthers in 2023 with a huge early season road win.  Point Pleasant Boro outshot the Blue Devils 19-4 but could not solve Harmon until late in the game after falling behind 2-0.  For #12 Shore, it’s a big win over the defending Shore Conference champion who’s currently ranked #8 in New Jersey.
