MLB.com’s Jim Callis broke the news that the Milwaukee Brewers have signed Pennington pitcher Byce Meccage to a 2.5 million dollar signing bonus. Milwaukee’s #57 pick in the second round signs nearly $1 million over the slot value of $1,562,100. Meccage had a fastball that tapped out at 98 miles per hour and did not allow a hit in his 22 innings of work this season at Pennington. JSZ was there to chronicle all the big moments from his senior season.
