Tyree Morris scored 20 points and Marc Dennis added 19 as the Green Wave spoiled RBC’s quest for an outright “B” North title. Long Branch had a 39-37 lead at the end of three quarters and built an 11 point lead in the fourth. The Caseys mounted a comeback as Mike Conley’s three-pointer got RBC within 3 at 50-47, but Long Branch closed the game on a 7-0 run. Terence Calandrillo had 15 points to lead Red Bank Catholic with freshman Kevin Bauman adding 12 points and 10 rebounds. RBC, Middletown North and Manasquan finish with 10-4 league records to share the “B” North championship, while Long Branch finishes a game back at 9-4.
