Ramsey avenged last year’s loss in the state championship game with a 1-0 win over Middletown North in the Public “B” hockey semifinals.  SSZ has highlights from Mennen Arena in Morristown

Ramsey 1 Middletown North 0

Garrett Mast scored the game’s only goal and Tyler Harmon delivered a 23 save shutout to end the season of the Lions in the state semifinals.  Middletown North won its first ever state championship on the ice last year at the Prudential Center at the hands of Ramsey, but it was a different story in 2016.  Scoreless through two periods, Mast capitalized on a 3-on-2 at the 10:44 mark of the third period delivering a wrister for the only puck to get behind Lions goalie Anthony Manfredi.  Middletown North ends its season with a 19-3-2 record.
