The Griffins used an eight run second inning to wipe out an early deficit to remain unbeaten. Freshman Kayla Roncin blasted a three run homer in the first inning and Alexa Pagano had three hits and two RBI’s including a pair of doubles. Pinelands jumped out to a 3-0 lead on an error that scored three runs and Nicole Burke launched a homer to centerfield to give the Wildcats a 4-3 advantage, but the Griffins put the game away in the bottom of the frame.
