Holmdel High School hosted the Coaches Choice Showcase. The Shore Conference went 4-1 against top competition from New York and Pennsylvania.

Jess Louro scored 23 of her 26 points in the second half as the Purple Roses upset a Long Island Lutheran team ranked 18th in the latest MaxPreps national rankings. The Crusaders, who also spent time in the USA Today Top 25, had an eight point lead late in the third quarter before the Purple Roses used defense and timely three point shooting to get back into the game. Saint Rose improves to 16-0 on the season.
