LITTLE SILVER – Red Bank Regional scored the first two goals of the game and was able to hold off Rumson-Fair Haven 2-1 on Tuesday afternoon in Little Silver. The Bucs struck first on a goal by Sam MacPherson. Senior Justin Gilson gave RBR a 2-0 advantage on a right foot blast. The Bulldogs only goal came late in the first half on a Jamie Martin tally. The second half featured outstanding play by both goalkeepers. Markar Krikorian finished with 10 saves and Miguel Valdez made a key save on a free kick from Martin in the final moments.
