The top two seeds in the Shore Conference Tournament went to Roselle Catholic and picked up a pair of impressive wins.  SSZ has highlights of Ranney’s 59-56 win over Newark Eastside and Mater Dei’s dominating effort against East Orange

Ahmadu Sarnor’s floater in the final 20 seconds proved to be the game winner as Ranney scored an impressive win against a top 10 state power.  Bryan Antoine led the Panthers with 22 points, Scottie Lewis had 16 points and Sarnor finished 13 points and 11 rebounds.  Elijah Oliyani, who will play Division I basketball at Stony Brook, led Newark Eastside with 18 points and 12 rebounds.  The fourth quarter featured a back and forth game with Sarnor’s clutch play ultimately proving to be the difference.  Watch some great highlights from Sunday night at Roselle Catholic:

Elijah Barnes scored 22 to lead a dominating effort from the Seraphs at the Primetime Shootout.  Mater Dei Prep picked up the #1 seed in the Shore Conference Tournament earlier in the day and the defending SCT champs looked like they are ready for the quest to repeat following a Sunday afternoon win:
